چکیده
The efficient depolymerization and hydrodeoxygenation of enzymatic hydrolysis lignin are achieved in cyclohexane solvents over a gamma-alumina supported nickel molybdenum alloy catalyst single step. Under initial 3 MPa hydrogen at 320 °C, the highest overall cycloalkane yield 104.4 mg/g with 44.4 wt% selectivity ethyl-cyclohexane was obtained. reaction atmosphere temperature have significant effects on conversion, product type distribution. conversion also investigated different molybdenum-based catalysts, exhibited activity among those catalysts. To reveal pathways alkylphenol hydrodeoxygenation, 4-ethylphenol tested as model compound. Complete into cycloalkanes achieved. A two-step mechanism dihydroxylation – hydrogenation is proposed, which benzene ring saturation deemed rate-determining

Alumina supported molybdenum catalyst for lignin valorization: Effect of reduction temperature.
Alumina supported molybdenum catalysts were prepared with an impregnation method. The activity of the catalyst in the ethanolysis of Kraft lignin to C6-C11 molecules, i.e. alcohols, esters, monophenols, benzyl alcohols and arenes, was tested in a batch reactor at 280 °C with initial 0 MPa nitrogen. The complete conversion of lignin to small molecular chemicals was achieved without the formation...
متن کاملSelective catalytic conversion of guaiacol to phenols over a molybdenum carbide catalyst.
An activated carbon supported α-molybdenum carbide catalyst (α-MoC1-x/AC) showed remarkable activity in the selective deoxygenation of guaiacol to substituted mono-phenols in low carbon number alcohol solvents. Combined selectivities of up to 85% for phenol and alkylphenols were obtained at 340 °C for α-MoC1-x/AC at 87% conversion in supercritical ethanol. The reaction occurs via consecutive de...

The mono-metallic and bi-metallic catalysts have been prepared by impregnating with solutions containing a compound of H2PtCl6,WO3 and 1ml HCl (0.1 mol). It should be noted that the catalysts’ activity and selectivity have been determined under these conditions : 450-5000C ,and 15-25atm by H2. For converting n-heptane , the molar ratio H2/C7H16 is 5 , and LHSV is 1.5ml/h. It has been proved tha...

متن کاملCatalytic Reforming of n-Heptane on Platimum - Rhenium Supported on Gamma-Alumina
Catalyitic reforming is one of the refinery processes in catalyst conversion that results to anincreases in octane number of naphtan which leads to production of gasoline with higher octanenumber. Hydrocarbons with high octan number that are produced in reforming process are as;aromatics, paraffins, isomers and etc.Not only Aromatics are used as fuel for motors but they are also useful in petro...
